Vicki Gunvalson of Real Housewives of Orange County, Bravo’s first housewife hit, has filed for a divorce from her husband Donn, according to the Oct. 19 online issue of People Magazine. Ms. Gunvalson, a successful insurance agent in Orange County, California, tells People, “It’s just time.” In 2009, they renewed their vows on the show. Divorce on Bravo
Oddly, there seems to be a wave of marital problems and divorces across the Bravo Housewife world. Usually, the term “housewife” would indicate that a woman was married. Previously, Jeana Keough and her husband Matt aired the breakup of their marriage on the show, Tamra Barney and husband Simon have also split, and the Countess LuAnn deLesseps has gone through a painful divorce from husband the Count, Alex, on the Housewives of New York City. In the new 2010 season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Nene Leakes is wrestling with the future of her marriage to husband Greg, which seemed to be one of the more solid unions in Bravo World.
